I Feel Sick ..

Okay, it’s been a week since I got the chickenpox. I feel absolutely irritated everytime I feel the itch. The sudden urge of scratching through my itching skin is almost unbearable. If only scratching it wouldn’t leave any pock that would mess up my skin, I would’ve scratch all day. I don’t know if maybe I’m being hyperbolic right now, but this disease is a total annoyance to me.

Unfortunately, there’s a meeting for the Karang Taruna (organization of youth) tonight. The August 17th or the Independence Day is coming real soon, and we’re responsible to take care of the special commemoration event. It’s actually quite usual for the senior members cause they’ve been handling it for years. But, still, we’re in a regeneration state right now, which means that there are new members that’s just clueless in almost everything and are in need of guidance.

Last year, we were doing alright. Of course there were some bits of difficulty on managing things, but we’ve made it through nonetheless. I hope we’re going to be just as fine in this year. But then, here comes my worry: how am I supposed to attend the meeting with my condition right now? If anyone gets infected by my disease, we’ll be doomed for a loss of help.

Maybe I can take this problem easily, but I’m kinda pissed off cause the meeting is important enough to consider. We’re going to discuss all the details of every match and games, resposibilities of each and everyone, and how much progress we have made so far. I know I’m going to be responsible for the consumption and some little games, but I haven’t know the detail. I gotta work with my friend, too, cause I won’t be working alone.

And then, there is the “arisan” routine… I guess they’re gonna do it tonight. I haven’t had a chance to join them in that one. * sigh *

I wish I’ll get well pretty soon. I also need to get rid of the ugly marks. I don’t like seeing them on my face. They’re just as annoying as acnes. I’m praying for a miracle (for a fast healing, actually).
